Education is one of the key areas supported by the initiative. School libraries in Semera, Logiya, Dufti, Asella, Shashemene, Ambo, Agaro, Bahir Dar, Deghabur, Kebridehar, and Bule Hora high schools have been strengthened with reference books that benefit thousands of students.
These books play a meaningful role in helping students prepare for national examinations. When teaching and learning are supported by quality reference materials, students gain better access to knowledge, academic productivity improves, and the risk of school dropout is reduced. Many students and teachers have also shared that the current market price of reference books is beyond the reach of many families, making this support especially important.
